The hype for Final Fantasy 15 is real- as it well would be, especially considering that the game has been a full ten years in the making. The hype is big enough for this game that the Platinum demo for the title, which was released last Thursday, after the Final Fantasy Uncovered event, managed to stack a whole lot of downloads, in spite of its fundamentally unappealing premise, and the bad word of mouth that it has managed to garner.
That’s not even all- the Ultimate Collector’s Edition for the game, which comes at a stupendously steep price, was pre-ordered so many times that Square Enix may have to look into producing more of it to satisfy the demand. They had originally commissioned only 30,000 units worldwide, which makes sense, because they were also asking for almost $300 for it- but looks like people really do like their Final Fantasy.
Final Fantasy 15 launches on September 30 2016 on PS4 and Xbox One.
