Final Fantasy 15 developers are working hard to make sure each location in the game will have its own climate and topography. This is according to a blog post on the Square Enix website. The blog post came thanks to an interview with Hiromitsu Sasaki. The environment artist had previously talked about how he had worked on making the dungeons in the game that much more enticing to adventure through.
In talking about the different topographies for the locations in the game, he made it clear he wanted people to have a different experience when they went from one part of the world to another. “We really take care with the history and story behind each area, with all the rocks and wildflowers etc. For FFXV we started creating the world terrain from the continental level, with the mountain ranges and the flow of the rivers etc. and have polished it to a level where each region and location actually has its own unique climate and topography.”
There’s very little doubt that a lot of work has been done in making this game something rather special. The graphics have been made to look as good as possible so it stands to reason that the climates and locations in the game are also as attractive as possible. We still don’t know when Final Fantasy 15 is going to be hitting the market but we’re getting closer to the event where the launch date will be announced. We’ll know more in March.
