Through an interview conducted by Famitsu (but translated recently) , it seems that Final Fantasy 15’s development is currently coming along and breaking (if it hasn’t broken already) into an important phase. This is according to Final Fantasy Type-0 and Crisis Core director Hajime Tabata.
When asked about future plans for Final Fantasy Type-0 after it releases on smartphones and tablets, Tabata said, “Final Fantasy 15 comes first. The other day I participated in an official announcement as Co. Director, but the Type-0 team was all there with me, and development is progressing well. Hereafter the engine development and game development side are coming along steadily and it’s breaking into an important phase.”
It’s currently rumoured that Final Fantasy 15, along with Kingdom Hearts 3, will both be showcased at E3 2014. A gameplay trailer for the former was seen last year along with its re-branding – perhaps a more extensive look at Kingdom Hearts 3 will be provided this year? Stay tuned for more.
