Final Fantasy 15 Gets Tons Of New Gameplay Footage At PAX East

Chocobo racing, combat, infiltration, and loads more.

At long last, Final Fantasy 15 is almost here. And if you can’t wait for its release on November 29, and just want to see more of the game, then the good news is that director Hajime Tabata, and the development team, shared a whole lot of gameplay footage for Final Fantasy 15 at PAX West.

The footage shows Noctis and co. in battle in a dark mine shaft against gigantic monsters, as well as what seems to be a fairly elaborate and well developed chocobo racing minigame, which will require the player to actually conserve their chocobo’s stamina, and use various tricks, if they want to come out on top. Finally, new gameplay footage for Final Fantasy 15, showcasing footage from a mission where the player infiltrates an enemy Niflheim base (not unlike similar footage that was shared earlier this year) was also shared.

It all seems to come together to show a game that looks great, with loads of varied things to do, and a lot of gameplay systems that just seem to be working together really well. Final Fantasy 15 is due out on November 29. You can check out the new gameplay footage from PAX West below.
