More and more concrete details surrounding Final Fantasy 15 are finally emerging thanks to Square Enix, most especially the fact that the action RPG will be out before 2017 (and thus in 2016) for Xbox One and PS4.
Director Hajime Tabata also revealed to GameSpot that it would be releasing in all regions worldwide simultaneously. This will be the first main Final Fantasy title to have such a release – previous games usually released several months after their Japanese launches.
“This may be something that we are little bit embarrassed to talk about, but really, this is the first time that we’ve done a packaged, standalone Final Fantasy game with a simultaneous global launch, so we didn’t have the setup to deal with that, really. The first thing we had to do was rearrange our internal structure to create something that could do that. That was the first important work on the project.”
Expect more details for Final Fantasy 15 at PAX Prime including possible information on a release date.
