Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis Closed Beta Test Runs from June 8th to 28th

A new trailer for the mobile RPG showcases turn-based battles, the various types of content, and a newcomer's face-off with Sephiroth.

Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis, a mobile RPG which remakes the Final Fantasy 7 saga, will have its closed beta test from June 8th to 28th on Android. You can pre-register for it now, and there’s a snazzy new trailer showcasing what to expect.

Ever Crisis is noteworthy for featuring a retro-esque aesthetic while exploring areas and Final Fantasy 7 Remake-style models and environments during turn-based battles. You can play solo or in co-op, and “dream teams” comprised of characters from across the saga are also possible.

The trailer also showcases some expected content, Dailies and Enhancement Quests to the Battle Tower and Dungeons. You can also use Summons like Ifrit to even the odds. The end sees Sephiroth confronting Glenn, who seems to be a new character (dressed like an Organization XIII member, for some reason). So there’s that.

Stay tuned for more details and updates on Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis as the closed beta gets underway.
