Final Fantasy 7 Remake Listed for Xbox One by GAME

E3 announcement incoming, then?

The leak from a few weeks ago, where Walmart Canada ended up putting up a lot of games on its website, before taking them down, has already been proven to be correct at this point- the announcement of RAGE 2 a few days later alone was enough.

One of the things in that leak was a listing for the Xbox One version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, which was… odd. Since the game was announced as a timed console exclusive for the PS4, which means it wouldn’t come to the Xbox One, right? At least, not right away?

Apparently, that’s wrong. GAME, a retailer of video games in Europe, has become the newest retailer to list an Xbox One version of the game, which suggests an Xbox One version of the game is inbound- so either there is no longer any timed exclusivity for the PS4 version of the game, or it is so meaningless, that a pre-order page for the Xbox One version going up now makes sense.

Or it could be nothing. Retailers have been known to make mistakes in the past. I know I always say where there is smoke, there is fire, and there is a fair bit of smoke here now- but I also always say, rumors are rumors until they are officially confirmed. This is not officially confirmed yet- take it with a pinch of salt.
