Fire Emblem: Three Houses Is Being Co-Developed By Koei-Tecmo

Nintendo, Intelligent Systems, and Koei-Tecmo are collaborating on the development of the upcoming SRPG.

Koei-Tecmo have confirmed via a press release that they’re co-developing the upcoming Switch exclusive strategy RPG Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Development of the game is being handled by themselves, primary developers and series custodians Intelligent Systems, and Nintendo. Koei-Tecmo haven’t gone into details about to what extent they’re aiding Intelligent Systems with the game’s development, but have officially confirmed their involvement nonetheless.

Koei-Tecmo were also, of course, involved with the development of 2017’s Fire Emblem Warriorswhich was co-developed by two of their studios- Omega Force and Team Ninja. It is unknown if both of them are once again involved with Three Houses’ development, or only either one of them is.

During their most recent Direct presentation, Nintendo fully pulled back the curtain on the upcoming RPG, giving out details on several new gameplay features, mechanics, and things such as plot setup and lore. You can take a look at it all through here.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch on July 26.
