First PS3 3D Games have their dates set

Its been a long time coming, but it is now confirmed that 3D games are coming very soon on the PlayStation 3. One June 10th, select PlayStation 3 games will be updated for 3D support and will be available for download. The first three games which will under go the update are Wipeout HD, Star Strike HD and Mr. Pain. People who own Wipeout HD and Star Strike HD will be able to upgrade for free while Mr. Pain will need you to shelve ¥300. Independent games are priced at ¥800 for for Star Strike, Mr. Pain for ¥1,000 and ¥1,800 for Wipeout HD. Additionally, Sony will be releasing a firmware update to support 3DBD video playback very soon.
