For Honor Update Brings Back River Fort, Enhances Steel Income

New outfits also available.

Ubisoft’s For Honor has been under fire since release due to the stingy amount of Steel drops (which can be purchased with real money and are necessary for unlocking high-end gear and cosmetics), problematic servers and balance issues. It also didn’t help that two maps – River Fort and High Fort – were removed due to problems.

In an effort to address some of those criticisms, Ubisoft has released a new update which brings back River Fort. High Fort will also return “as soon as possible if everything goes well with River Fort.”

Steel income will also see changes – all matches see increased income by 25 percent. Daily Orders will dole out 33 percent more Steel, Side Orders grant 50 percent more Steel and Community Orders now grant 2000 Steel as opposed to 500-1000. New customization options like Battlefield Chic outfits for Knights, Death Ravens costumes for Vikings and Death Blossoms outfits for Samurai are also available.

Finally, if you suffered from the March 28th server outage, then you’ll receive Champion Status free for three days (lending to increased XP and resource gain). The studio will also look into Faction War rewards and fix them soon.
