For Honor Xbox One X Update Out Now, Enhances Shadows and Draw Distance

Ubisoft finally adds support for Xbox One X in its multiplayer-focused hack and slasher.

Ubisoft’s For Honor is the latest third party title to leverage the power of Xbox One X as the publisher announced a recent update that enabled 4K support. If you have a supporting 4K television, then you get to watch all the bloody decapitations and murders in even more pixels per inch.

Along with 4K resolution support, the update enhances shadows, increases draw distance and brings more detailed reflections off the water. There don’t seem to be any other graphical enhancements and the jury is out on the quality of the 4K. Regardless, Ubisoft is still very much supporting its third person hack and slash brawler all the same.

For Honor as such has been receiving a pretty steady stream of free updates with new heroes, maps and whatnot added to the base game. The most recent season of content “Order and Havoc” brought Aramusha of the Samurai and Shaman of the Vikings to the table along with the maps Market Town and the Gauntlet.
