Fortnite Sets A Number Of Impressive YouTube Viewership Records, Including Overtaking Minecraft’s Viewership

Looks like Fortnite is only going to get bigger!

It is clear that Fortnite’s success is not going to be as short-lived as some had assumed. In fact, the game is doing so well that it holds a number of records related to its presence on YouTube. In fact, the game’s viewership has even overtaken that of Minecraft which has dominated YouTube for a long time as the most viewed video game.

As of February, the game holds the record for the most videos uploaded within a single month. Additionally, the game holds the second spot when it comes to watchtime for a video game. The game also set the record for the biggest ever gaming stream with a stream by YouTuber ElRubiusOMG reaching a total of 1.1 million concurrent viewers.Finally, in a huge Battle Royale battle, many players uploaded videos of the match, and the combined views for their videos is more  than 42 million.

Epic Games has now proved that Fortnite’s success is here to stay. We’ll have to wait and see just how big this game gets!
