Forza Motorsport 6 Goes Gold

In celebration, here is the full list of 460 cars coming to the game.

Xbox One exclusive Forza Motorsport 6, the sixth mainline entry in Turn 10’s critically acclaimed racing sim series, has gone gold ahead of its launch next month. This means that nothing can delay the game from its September 15 release date now.

But if you want, you can actually play Forza 6 earlier- Microsoft has announced that it will release a free Forza 6 demo on September 1. This demo will have a portion of the 460 cars that are present in the final game, and will also include night racing and wet weather; in addition, just like the final game, it runs at 1080p and 60fps. Basically, it’s a pretty representative slice of the final product.

Ten new cars were also announced for the game’s roster- these are the final ten cars to be announced for the game, completing its roster of 460 cars that can be perused in full over on the game’s official website. The ten new cars are:

  • 2015 Mercedes-AMG GT S
  • 1979 BMW #6 BMW Motorsport M1 Procar
  • 2015 Volvo S60 Polestar
  • 2014 Audi #45 Flying Lizard Motorsports R8 LMS ultra
