PlayStation Plus is Sony’s equivalent of a platinum or gold membership to their online subscription services. Account holders are frequently granted discounts on some of the biggest names in gaming at the time of their release or soon thereafter. Earlier today, Sony confirmed a list of games that will be offered completely free of charge to those gamers who hold PlayStation Plus memberships come this December.
Both Resogun and Contrast for the PS4 will be completely free. Additionally, PlayStation Plus players will be granted a 20% discount on Trine Two, and for PS4 gamers, there will be some free downloadable content available for Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag.
PlayStation 3 PlayStation Plus subscribers will be getting Grid 2 and Guacamelee for free, with the latter also being included in the PS Vita package. Vita gamers will also be treated to Sonic & Sega All Stars Rising, as well as Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.
