Beyond: Two Souls was released only last year on the PlayStation 3, although that was a bit baffling when you consider it. The game was a bit of a graphical showcase (which, really, was all that it was actually good at), and maybe it might have been better served as a PlayStation 4 launch title and visual showcase.
Well, it’s too late for it to be a PS4 launch title or even visual showcase anymore, but in true Sony tradition, it looks like it will be coming to the PS4 all the same. The existence of a PS4 port of Beyond: Two Souls has been rumored for a while, and now French website is claiming that it is real.
Apparently, the new PS4 version will be called Director’s Cut, and it will include levels that were previously cut out from the game, including the oft spoken of Baby Stage.
It hasn’t yet been officially confirmed (although considering how trigger happy Sony is with porting PS3 games to PS4, it’s pretty much a given), but we’ll let you know if/when it happens.
