Last year we saw the release of Gears 5, the latest entry in one of Microsoft’s key franchises. While the basics of the game largely went unchanged, it was a strong entry nonetheless. It was announced not long ago that the game will be getting Xbox Series X version as well, and it’s possible we may get some more information on that tomorrow.
It was announced that at the next Inside Unreal, a series of streaming events, The Coalition will join to cover information about Gears Tactics on PC and Gears 5 on the Xbox Series X. You can see the full description through here or below. It’s unclear exactly what will be shown of the game, only that aspects of it in regards to the Unreal Engine will be ‘covered.’
“Let’s give a warm welcome to The Coalition! They will cover the latest from The Coalition such as Gears Tactics on PC, and Gears 5 on Xbox Series X – while revisiting some of their tech from Gears 5 like Facial Animation systems, Dynamic Character Rigs, Lighting, Cover System and Streaming/level setup. Join us for an opportunity to get to know more about these titles and ask your questions during the Q&A.”
If we get to see Gears 5 actually running on Xbox Series X we’ll, of course, let you know. Here is where you’ll be able to see the stream. The latest Operation is also live now for the Xbox One and PC versions, which you can read all about through here.
