"Qualifying" Xbox Live Gold members get access on April 25th till May 1st.

The Coalition’s multiplayer beta for Gears of War 4 will be starting on April 18th according to Microsoft. The first set of beta tokens will go out on that date and these will be reserved for those who’ve played Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on PC or Xbox One by April 11th, 11 PM PST (previously March 1st).

After this “early access” ends on April 24th, “qualifying” Xbox Live Gold members will have access to the multiplayer beta until May 1st. What constitutes a “qualifying” Xbox Live Gold member hasn’t been revealed yet but expect more information in the coming weeks.

The Gears of War 4 multiplayer beta was announced in February with access promised to those who played Gears of War: Ultimate Edition by March 1st. The deadline was extended to April 11th, likely to accommodate those who picked up the Windows 10 version of the Ultimate Edition when it released.
