Gears of War 4 Update Makes Earning Credits Easier

Elite Gear Pack costs reduced.

The Coalition’s Gears of War 4 is out today for all who purchased the standard edition. In order to facilitate the rewards process for players, a new update has made it easier to earn credit.

This is based on fan feedback and provides more credit when finishing matches. The Elite Gear Pack’s cost has also been reduced from 4000 Credits to 3500 Credits. Combined with the increased multiplayer match payout and it becomes easier to earn Gear Packs. The payout increase has been reported to be somewhere around 30 to 40 percent by some Reddit users.

The update currently has a bug that tends to showcase zero credits earned after the end of each match, though you still earn XP and credits. It’s more of a visual bug than anything else. Expect a fix for the same soon along with a patch for matchmaking and connectivity issues.
