Ghost of Tsushima Dev Hiring To Push The Game To Its “Full Potential”

Development on the open world title seems to be moving along.

Ghost of Tsushima, among all of Sony’s heavy-hitting PS4 exclusives still to come, has perhaps been the most shrouded in mystery. Even Death Stranding has at least seen a number of trailers every now and then, whereas with Ghost of Tsushima, barring two trailers, we’ve seen nothing at all- and nothing since E3 2018.

Questions about how its development is moving along have been thrown around quite a bit as such, especially in light of speculation based on previous job listings that the bulk of writing was still to be done– and though Sucker Punch haven’t really provided an official update yet, another new job listing for the position of QA Manager (via Gamasutra) does suggest that production is moving along nicely- or moving along, at the very least.

The job listing states that the person hired would be helping developers Sucker Punch with “shipping a best-in-class AAA game”. The position, as per the ad, is “not only about fixing bugs, it is also about player experience, immersive storytelling, and having fun playing the game”. Sucker Punch sees it as a vital part in the process of “taking Ghost of Tsushima to its full potential”.

Ghost of Tsushima has no release date as of yet, but there’s no fear of the game slipping into the next generation of consoles- Sony has assured that it’s still going to launch on the PS4.
