Ghost Of Tsushima Gets One More Update Before Launch

Update 1.04 will fix bugs and "localization issues".

Tomorrow is the big day for the launch of Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima. The samurai action game has been hyped for quite some time, and we’ve seen both its gorgeous landscape and its brutal combat, and we know most are more than ready to jump right in. But before that, it’ll get one more update.

The game has already had a series of updates pre-release, and it seems we will get one more. The last update to go live before launch is 1.04. Unfortunately, like the last update, the actually changelog is rather vague, only saying it’s for bug fixes and various “localization fixes.” Some of the early reviews have noted issues with subtitles and lip syncing, so it may be addressing some of that. What’s interesting is the patch size is different per region, with the US getting an 8GB patch, Europe whooping 11.3GB one and Asia only 5.5GB. Thanks to Twistedvoxel for the information on that.

Ghost of Tsushima will release for PlayStation 4 on July 17th. Update 1.04 is live now, and you can download it at launch.
