The Raid against Lord Saito and the Dragon in Ghost of Yōtei: Legends may not have gotten any easier, but at least finding teammates has. Sucker Punch released a new update over the weekend, finally adding matchmaking. Considering it’s coming less than two weeks after launch, that’s not bad.
Of course, there’s more, as Hell Mode has been added as a difficulty for boss battles in the Raid. Defeating them will net new class cosmetics, so it’s worth the headache (probably). Also, those who want to skip to the Dragon and Saito to throw down immediately can now do so.
There’s also a new option for those who don’t want to throw away their old gear – Gear Retirement. What purpose does this fulfill? Well, none whatsoever, but other players can see how much gear you’ve retired, and fireflies will gather around when you bow. Think of it as bragging rights for all the different perfected gear (and the currency spent to retire them).
Check out the rest of the patch notes below, which include various fixes for rare crashes. Issues where attacks from specific enemies would deal more damage have been fixed, and you can no longer be disarmed when executing Ultimate attacks.
