The newest installment in the Ghost Recon series, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, is coming later this year. That isn’t stopping Ubisoft from continuing to support the previous game in the series in the meantime, however, as Ghost Recon Wildlands is getting even more content before Breakpoint hits. Today Ubisoft announced that Mercenaries mode will be added to the game.
Mercenaries is a free for all mode that pits players against both AI based enemies as well as other players. You call for rescue, locate and reach the extraction point, then be the first to board the chopper. It sounds easy, but everyone and anyone is in your way. You’ll start with only melee and must work to find weapons and death means you have to start from square one. The Lone Wolf Costume will be given as a reward after completing your first match, with other rewards given out for winning more.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Mercenaries mode is live now across all versions.
