Ghost Recon Wildlands Receives New Trailer, Special Edition Details

Ubisoft showcases new gameplay for the upcoming open world co-op title.

Ubisoft’s Ghost recon: Wildlands has emerged from hiding to showcase a new trailer highlighting its open world, four player co-op gameplay and environments. Check it out below.

According to Ubisoft, there will be “total freedom of choice” when it comes to how you want to complete missions with the world reacting accordingly to the results. You’re in charge of combating the Santa Blanca cartel and its leader El Sueno which means lots of shooting and destruction of property.

The game’s special editions were also unveiled. Along with the Standard Edition and digital Deluxe Pack, you can get the Deluxe Edition at GAME which contains a Huntsman rifle and motorbike, three each of emblems, weapon camos and character customization items and an XP booster. The physical edition includes a map of Bolivia the game’s OST on top of everything else.

The Gold Edition is on sale at Amazon and includes the Season Pass for two major expansions, exclusive DLC like equipment packs, an exclusive vehicle, the digital Deluxe Pack and epic weapons. Finally, there’s the Calavera Collector’s Case exclusive to UPlay which includes the Gold Edition, an Ghost’s Audio Headset which serves as its own headset, a Collector’s Case with a Santa Blanca Cartel Skull, map, OST, Bolivian carrying pouch and three postcards from the country. Pre-ordering also nets you the bonus mission “The Peruvian Connection”.

Still no information on a release date but it can’t be far off at this point.
