Ghost Recon Wildlands Special Operation Lets You Fight Alongside Sam Fisher

New free mission coming along with new PvP mode and Echelon class.

As last week’s not-so-subtle teaser revealed, Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher is coming to Bolivia. More specifically, he’ll be part of a special operation releasing on April 10th in Ghost Recon Wildlands, teaming up with players to infiltrate a Unidad Camp in Santa Cruz to retrieve some intel. That’s not the only content being added though. Check out the trailer below.

Along with the new mission, which will be available to all players, there will be different weapons and a Sam Fisher outfit to unlock as part of the Year 2 Pass. Sam’s signature night-vision goggles are a mission reward though. Options for customizing teammates (particularly with cosmetics that you own) will also be added. A new class, the Echelon, is also coming to Ghost War PvP along with a new mode called Sabotage.

Ghost Recon Wildlands will also be playable for free from April 12th to 15th so if you’re interested in checking the game out, head here. The real question is whether this cameo will lead to the reveal of a new Splinter Cell in the coming months. Time will tell so stay tuned for more information.
