Saber Interactive’s Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered, an enhanced version of the 2009 title by Terminal Reality and Red Fly Studio, is out now. It’s not the mythical third film – which is finally being made as Ghostbusters 2020 – but it does offer a fun action adventure. Check out the launch trailer below.
Taking place in New York, under siege by ghosts again, the title sports in-game likenesses and voices from Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson. That’s right – the original crew is essentially present and accounted for. Even better, the story was written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis who scripted the first two films.
Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered is out now for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch. The PC version is exclusive to the Epic Games Store. If you ever wanted to know what Ghostbusters 3 would have been like, then it’s worth checking out on top of being a pretty good game as well.
