We found out earlier in the year that Ghostbusters: The Video Game would be getting a remastered version later in the year. Well, we finally know when that will be and, fittingly, it will be right in time for the spookiest holiday of Halloween as the game will hit this October, the publisher and developer announced via a press release.
While there’s been several Ghostbusters games in the past, this one was particularly special. Originally released on a gauntlet of systems, the game saw the reuniting of the original Ghostbusters cast for what was essentially a playable Ghostbusters 3 (this was obviously before we got the actual Ghostbusters 3 that will release in cinemas 2020). If you have an admiration for the older films and haven’t play this one, you’re in for a big treat. And if you did, you’ll now get a chance to revisit that feeling all over again.
Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered will release on October 4th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
