Ghostwire: Tokyo Guide – How to Increase Max Health and SP Capacity

Surviving a Visitor-infested city isn't easy but having more health and SP will give you an edge. Here's how to go about increasing both.

Stats in Ghostwire: Tokyo are fairly streamlined. Along with the Wire-In gauge (which is restored by slaying foes), you have Health and SP. The former obviously dictates how much damage you can take while the latter governs the number of Ethereal Weaving spells that can be cast. So how do you go about increasing both?

Maximum health is increased every time you level up. Completing side quests and other tasks nets EXP, which results in your survivability goes up. However, each level up will only confer about 2 percent additional health so take things slow and steady before jumping into anything too dangerous. It’s also worth looking for different beads to equip since many of them will reduce damage taken by a certain percentage (Self-Defense Beads) or increasing the healing received from food (Nourishment Beads).

Beads are found by completing requests for the Nekomata vendors or by cleansing shrines, and can be upgraded to improve their perks. At rank 3, Nourishment Beads increase the amount of health restored from food by 200 percent. Self-Defense Beads can reduce damage taken by 30 percent at rank 3. You can also use Incognito Beads since they cause weaker Visitors to take more time to notice you, thus allowing you to sneak around more easily.

How to Increase SP Capacity

Compared to Health, increasing your SP Capacity for each Ethereal Weaving element is all about locating Jizo Statues. There are 52 in total in Tokyo so it’s fairly dependent on how many areas you’ve opened up. Each statue wears different colored clothing corresponding to their element.

Statues with red clothing increase Fire spell capacity while those with green and blue clothes restore Wind and Water spell capacity respectively. For details on the location of each Jizo Statue, check out the guide below by Cultured Vultures on YouTube.
