GMG Will Issue Refunds If PC Version of Batman: Arkham Knight Is Not Fixed

The mess is spilling over.

Batman: Arkham Knight’s PC port is bit of a disaster. And while Warner Bros., Rocksteady, and Iron Galaxy are all looking into it, there remains a very real possibility that the game will not be fixed adequately- or that it won’t be fixed adequately in a proper timeframe.

Keeping this in mind, popular PC games retailer Green Man Gaming will refund Batman: Arkham Knight customers if the technical issues aren’t addressed by the time the next patch goes out. “Warner Bros are currently working on a patch which we are hoping will be released soon,” they said. “We’re talking to Warner Bros who are resolved to address these concerns. We want you to enjoy your game, but if after the fix has been released, you still cannot play your game, we will process refund requests for the game.”

Refunds for digital PC games are still a relatively new phenomenon- though EA’s Origin has been offering them for a few years, Steam only just started offering them few weeks ago. Now, it seems that in the era of increasingly unacceptably broken releases, other stores have no choice but to follow suit.
