Polyphony Digital’s next big update for Gran Turismo 7 is out tomorrow with Version 1.29 adding five new cars, a new track, PlayStation VR2 support and more. A trailer has been released, showcasing the new content in action. Check it out below.
The five new cars are the Citroen DS 21 Pallas ’70, Honda RA272 ’65, Italdesign EXENEO Vision Gran Turismo Street Mode, Italdesign EXENEO Vision Gran Turismo Off-road Mode and the Porsche 911 Carrera RS (901) ’73. The next is the Grand Valley Highway 1 race track, with the full configuration and “South” layout both available.
Drift Photography is also live and allows for taking “professional-level” drift photos. Alongside PlayStation VR2 support, which includes the exclusive VR Showroom for admiring HD models of the cars, Gran Turismo Sophy has also arrived. You can compete against this racing AI in the limited-time “Race Together” event, which is live until late March. It’s only for PS5 players, and you need to be Collector Level 6.
