Still sour about the July update adding microtransactions to Gran Turismo Sport? Either way, Polyphony Digital continues to add new content with the latest update, adding eight new cars, a new track, and much more. The update is out on August 30th.
The new vehicles in question include:
- Ford Mark IV Race Car ’67
- Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupé ’64
- Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo
- Abarth 500 ’09
- Abarth 1500 Biposto Bertone B.A.T 1 ’52
- Volkswagen 1200 ’66
- Mini-Cooper ‘S’ ’65
- Lancia DELTA HF Integrale Evoluzione ’91
The new track is the Red Bull Ring in Styria, Austria, and along with playing the full version, there’s a shorter version of the track included in the game as well. Both variations of the track have options to play them in reverse, adding a bit more variety. Players also receive three more challenges for GT League Events, which are the Beetle & Samba Bus Festa (Beginner), Group 3 Cup (Amateur), and Nostalgic 1979 (Professional).
You can also check out previous rankings via Sport Mode, check out the Zagato Museum, and even explore a special part of Cuba in Scapes. Overall, not a bad update, especially when you consider all the other content that’s been added till now, free of cost.
