Raptr recently released information on its annual survey regarding game times, and wouldn’t you know it but Grand Theft Auto 5 on the Xbox 360 won out. Raptr measures data only from PC and Xbox 360 users, but when it comes to looking at the trends for both of these platforms, it’s still very useful.
According to the survey, GTA 5 on Xbox 360 was the most played game nearly 30 days after its launch. Call of Duty: Ghosts on the console comes in second. Interestingly, the gap between the two is far larger than that of Ghosts and Battlefield 4 on PC which came in third. Dota 2 on PC averaged at fifth place.
In terms of most played overall, League of Legends for PC won, with Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 being voted the Xbox 360 game of choice. When it coems to brand new IP, Path of Exile was the most played while Terraria on the PS Vita was voted the most played expansion, beating out Stacraft 2: Heart of the Swarm.
But what received the award for longest average play sessions without any breaks? That would be Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, with players engaged for 3.14 hours on average.
