Whereas Grand Theft Auto V’s re-issue on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is absolutely wonderful, and in true Rockstar fashion, raises the bar for what a next gen update should be (while also making you wonder just why the game was released on the significantly more constrained last gen hardware in the first place), it did have some issues of its own.
Most notable of these was the input lag, that a lot of players were complaining about, and that did in fact impede player enjoyment.
Rockstar was quick to address the issue, as it appears that the latest update for the game, which just released today, has countered the input lag to some degree, while also allowing the players a range of options to tailor the play experience more suited to their liking.
That was a pretty swift response, although the problem was relatively minor. Still, other developers and publishers could stand to learn a thing or two from Rockstar.
