Guilty Gear Strive Beta Will Be Available First To EVO Japan 2020 Attendees

No word on when the beta will be out.

Many in the fighting games community are looking forward to the launch of Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear Strive, and for good reason, too. The fighter’s looked slick in whatever’s been shown of it so far, and soon, select players will also have the chance to go hands-on with the game and get a feel for it themselves.

Arc System Works have confirmed that a closed online beta for Guilty Gear Strive will go live in Spring of 2020. However, it seems the beta will be made available first of all to EVO Japan 2020 attendees- those attending the event will have to play the game during specific demo times, and fill out a survey afterward. No date has been provided for when this beta will go live either.

Guilty Gear Strive is currently targeting a late 2020 release for the PS4, but given that timeframe, one can’t help but wonder whether it might end up being cross-gen title. You can check out a to of new gameplay footage from the fighter through here.
