Despite now being out for over a year, Supergiant Games’ next title is still in Early Access. The developer is treating it less like traditional Early Access period and more along the lines of serial storytelling with constant, long form updates that has dropped at a steady pace. There’s no word on when the game will actually enter a 1.0 state, but it’s kicking off 2020 with one of its most substantial updates yet in The Long Winter.
The update sees a significant amount of new content including new weapon variants, a fishing rod that allows you to sell off Underworld river creatures, upgrades, a new legendary keepsake, and a lot more. It has such a huge amount of content, it gets its own dedicated trailer, which you can see below. For a full list of additions with the update, you can check out the game’s Steam hub through here.
