Despite now being out for over a year, Supergiant Games’ next title is still in Early Access. The developer is treating it less like a traditional Early Access period and more along the lines of serial storytelling with constant, long form updates that has dropped at a steady pace. There’s no word on when the game will actually enter a 1.0 state, but it’s kicking off 2020 with one of its most substantial updates yet in The Long Winter.
The update sees a significant amount of new content including new weapon variants, a fishing rod that allows you to sell off Underworld river creatures, upgrades, a new legendary keepsake, and a lot more. It has such a huge amount of content, it gets its own dedicated trailer, which you can see below. For a full list of additions with the update, you can check out the game’s Steam hub through here.
