Half-Life: Alyx Shown Offscreen During VR Headset Test

A quick peek at the game.

The Half-Life series will make its big return to gaming early next year with the release of Half-Life: Alyx. Almost as if it were written in the stars, the return came in an unexpected form that not everyone is terribly excited about with a VR-only title featuring no multiplayer. That is what it is and all, nothing to really do at this point, but we did get a new peek at the game and how you’ll look as you play it.

Via the YouTube channel Tested, we got to see Alyx being demoed on a total of 8 different headsets. The focus is more on the headsets, but you get to see some new footage of the game in the background as the demo is played. You also get to see how you look playing this game, which is just fun.

Half-Life: Alyx is slated to come to PC March 2020 and be compatible with a multitude of VR headsets. As of now there’s no plans for a console release, but the company has said a PS VR release could be in the cards down the road.
