Halo 5 Anvil’s Legacy, Forge for Windows 10 Releasing on September 8th

More free content and features heading to Halo 5.

343 Industries’ next content pack for Halo 5: Guardians, Anvil’s Legacy, and Forge Mode for Windows 10 will be releasing on September 8th.

Anvil’s Legacy is yet another free content update that will introduce two new maps – Mercy, an Arena map, and Temple, a Warzone Assault map – along with new REQs for armour, weapon skins and whatnot. There will also be three new weapons, attachments that include Sound Dampeners and much more.

The update will also add a content browser to allow players to search for Forge content and access it directly through the game. Halo 5’s Forge mode on Windows 10 will bring even more intriguing features. Along with 4K resolution support, it’s possible to host custom matches for a maximum of 16 players. It will also be possible for both Windows 10 and Xbox One users to download maps across both platforms and customize them to their hearts’ content.
