Halo 5: Guardians, the fifth entry in the Halo franchise, was a notable omission from the list of existing Xbox One games that Microsoft announced would be getting an update for 4K graphics for the Xbox One X at E3 last month. However, it looks like Halo fans need not have worried- 343 Industries have just announced that Halo 5 will be getting an update for 4K graphics for the Xbox One X after all.
The functionality is expected to come in an update for the game later this year- 343 Industries promised to share more information as the update draws near. For now, we can only hope that Halo 5 won’t lose its native 60fps framerate in trying to be 4K- and at the same time, we can also hope that it manages to hit 4K natively (especially since it actually wasn’t much of a looker).
Halo 5: Guardians is available exclusively on the Xbox One- are you excited for the 4K update? Let us know in the comments section below!
