In case any of you were wondering what the new the Halo 5 Guardians Multiplayer looks like, here is the scoop. The multiplayer is shown to be at a resolution of 720p and outputs at 60fps according to 343 Industries.
Studio head for Halo 5: Guardians Josh Holmes stated the resolution of the game will see changes as the development cycle continues. He stated in an interview with Eurogamer, “For the beta, at this point we’re totally focused on gameplay, We’re midway through development. We’re balancing and tuning the gameplay systems. All of the polish and optimisation graphically is stuff that typically comes towards the end of the production cycle.
He further stated : “So, for the beta, we’re going to be coming out at 720p and 60fps. That’s not the final resolution for the game. You can imagine as we go through the remainder of the project we’ll be focused on polishing the visual look of the game. You can expect it will look amazing when it comes out.”
For those of you who are interested in playing, the Halo 5: Guardians’ beta, it will be accessible from 29th December 2014 to those who purchase the Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Keep in mind that the beta will last for three weeks, and will include a total of three game modes and seven maps.
The game is set to release sometime in 2015 exclusively for the Xbox One
