343 Industries is prepping the next update for Halo 5: Guardians, which will be out in April and adds a new Warzone map along with the usual new REQs and skins. However, in light of the Halo World Championship finals, it releases a free REQ pack to all current players of the game. The pack includes the Challenger armour set and a HaloWC emblem.
If that weren’t enough, the developer released new footage of the upcoming Warzone Firefight, a PvE version of Warzone where eight players face increasingly difficult waves of enemies. Despite the increasing difficulty, players will be able to use REQs to turn the tide. The co-op mode is due this Summer and will likely arrive after all the free map updates.
Halo 5: Guardians was recently updated with new multiplayer playlists that added Grifball and Assault to the mix. Fans can look forward to community-developed maps being added over the coming weeks so stay tuned for more information.
