Ahead of the game’s launch in October, 343 Industries went ahead and shared some brand new screenshots from the game. These screenshots are showcasing the Blue Team Campaign Mission that was already shown off before- but these screenshots appear to be new media, taken from new angles, and showing us new things.
The Blue Team Campaign Mission isn’t all that we see in these screenshots- we also have new footage [via Gamespot’s Youtube Channel]for the Slayer mode for the game’s multiplayer campaign. Given that Slayer is the most popular multiplayer mode in the franchise, it is good to have confirmation that it will be returning.
What will not be returning is another, extremely popular mode- splitscreen, local or online. Previous Halo campaigns were all marked by the ability for you to play through all of them with a friend, but Halo 5: Guardians will not feature any splitscreen. It is a bummer, though at the very least it looks like the other new modes and content that are being added is pretty awesome.
Halo 5: Guardians launches exclusively on Xbox One this November.
