Contrary to what the recent round of TV spots may have had you believe, Halo 5: Guardians is not heading towards Master Chief’s death- although this so called ‘death’ does figure into the game’s narrative, it is also a cover by the UNSC to distract attention from what is really going on in the game- and what is really going on is what we shall be playing.
And what happens is a galaxy wide manhunt by the UNSC for Master Chief- they send Locke and Fireteam Osiris after him, and the game is presumably about this hunt, possibly played from both perspectives. The new trailer for the game, which you can see below, showcases this new angle of the story, and looks stupendously high quality- just as we have come to expect from Halo advertisements and trailers.
Halo 5: Guardians launches later this month on the Xbox One. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information.
