Oh gamers you never cease to amaze and astound me. An obviously unofficial but stunning little Halo 5: Guardians trailer popped up online back in August and unfortunately didn’t go quite as viral as it deserved. The twist of course being that the trailer is rendered, in its entirety, in the style of Minecraft.
I know we’ve all seen this kind of thing before, but this trailer has some fundamental differences to that of the original trailer. First of all, and most obvious, it’s Minecraft. Then comes the fact that the large Promethean chap we seen come out of the desert has been replaced with the Ender Dragon. And since this is a nod to the lads and gents of Achievement Hunter, the dog tag of “Gavino Free” is collected by the Chief with the same iconic Minecraft pop.
While it’s certainly not the most original or impressive trailer of all time, especially of all those rendered in Minecraft, it’s certainly worth a look.
