Halo: The Master Chief Collection Arrives September 1st for Xbox Game Pass

The first four Halo titles will soon be available to Game Pass subscribers.

343 Industries has been working hard to improve Halo: The Master Chief Collection. A massive patch will be arriving for the Xbox One collection, which will bring matchmaking improvements and Xbox One X support. However, for those who don’t own the game and want to test the waters, Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be coming to Xbox Game Pass on September 1st.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection contains the first four Halo titles – Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4 – with all of their multiplayer content. Though the launch saw a number of different issues that remained in the collection for a long time, 343 Industries seems to have things relatively in order now. If not on September 1st, then expect the latest patch to arrive around the same time.

The developer is also busy working on Halo: Infinite, a true follow-up to Halo 5: Guardians. Along with running on the new SlipSpace Engine, it will be co-developed with Skybox Labs.
