Hell is Us Announced for Nintendo Switch 2, Launching September 24th

The cult-classic Souls-like action adventure focuses on Remi as he explores Hadea to find his parents, as a bloody civil war rages on.

Rogue Factor’s stunning Soulslike Hell is Us will soon have a new platform to call home. The latest Nacon Connect confirmed that it’s coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on September 24th. Check out the announcement trailer below.

Released last year for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, the story follows Remi, an Organized Nations Peacekeeper who returns to his childhood home in Hadea to find his parents. The region is currently in the midst of civil war, and the resulting strife fuels the Calamity, creating Hollow Walkers that hound the countryside.

Each harnesses different emotions – something which Remi can also do, unleashing powerful attacks with different benefits. Of course, the biggest appeal of Hell is Us is the lack of handholding. There’s no overarching map or guidance, as players must go through documents and unearth clues to solve puzzles and figure out where to venture next. Hadea has a rich history, but little does Remi know that strife and conflict run much deeper than he realizes.

It’s a pretty compelling adventure, complete with some stunning hand-crafted dungeons (even if there’s an inordinate amount of backtracking involved). To learn more, check out our review – we gave it a seven out of ten, praising the exploration and world-building.
