IO Interactive’s Hitman is yet another release that will support PlayStation 4 Pro when the console becomes available on November 10th.
Some of the nifty visual enhancements on hand include an overall resolution increase, reduced aliasing, improved reflective surfaces and better detailed lighting effects. Players can also expect the PS4 Pro’s extra memory to stream higher quality textures with the UI being rendered in native 4K.
IO Interactive studio head Hannes Seifert noted that, “With Hitman we made a live game which is constantly improving and the PS4 Pro aligns perfectly with that vision of constant improvement, we’re proud to support it.”
Even those without 4K displays can benefit from the added details due to downsampling to 1080p. This will result in less highlight flickering and better shading quality. The timing of the update isn’t too bad seeing as how the first season was recently wrapped up with Episode 6: Hokkaido. Check out the screenshots below to see exactly what to expect.
