Caffeine is game that we have talked to you about before. It’s an Unreal Engine 4 powered indie horror game that promises to terrify you in entirely new ways, eschewing combat as it does and forcing you to think and make your way through your predicament by solving puzzles. Now, you can see even more of the game, as a brand new trailer has been posted for the game to celebrate the launch of its IndieGoGo campaign.
In addition to the trailer, a demo has also been made available to play. However, the game’s creator Dylan Browne reminds us that the demo is not necessarily indicative of the final product.
“It is currently a pre-release demo so please keep in mind that I will be releasing updates to it in the coming weeks,” he said. “At the moment it includes a re-designed starting area which you can explore. Please bear in mind as some sounds are not in the demo build yet but I plan to fix this and a texture bug (near the fridge) next week.”
If you wish to, you can download the demo from IndieDB. Or you can check out the newest trailer and tell us what you think.
Caffeine is due out on PC, with a PS4 and Oculus Rift version also having been considered.
