After roughly a year since it was first announced alongside the PlayStation 4, Sucker Punch’s inFamous: Second Son has finally gone gold and is ready to send for manufacturing, distribution and digital stores. This was announced by Sucker Punch’s Brian Fleming on Twitter and indicates that the development on the game, for all intents and purposes, has been finished.
inFamous: Second Son takes place several years after the events of the first game and sees players taking on the role of Conduit Delsin Rowe, who has the ability to copy the powers of other Conduits. The city this time is firmly entrenched in authoritarianism though, thanks to the crazy events of the second game, so you’ll need to fight off police forces in this new open world game.
inFamous: Second Son will be releasing on March 21st for the PlayStation 4 worldwide but count on impressions and early reports hitting before then. Stay tuned for more updates.
