Jump Force Beta Sessions Rescheduled Following Several “Complex Issues”

Bandai Namco promises that the game "will be great" when it launches in February.

Bandai Namco Entertainment recently hosted an open beta for Jump Force, its upcoming crossover fighting game featuring Shonen Jump icons. Unfortunately, the beta ran into quite the number of issues. The publisher has thus cancelled and is rescheduling the last two planned sessions to “improve the current online experience.”

When called out for the server issues inherent during the beta, Bandai Namco responded, “We know that this session has been awful with several and very complex issues happening from the very start. We could not fix it and even had to cancel the other ones to ensure we can properly fix and patch the game.” It did assure fans that the game would be great by the time it releases in February. Honestly, we’ll have to wait and see how the next few sessions fare before then.

Developed by Spike Chunsoft, Jump Force features 3v3 fights with popular heroes like Luffy (One Piece), Goku (Dragon Ball Z) and Naruto. Other popular manga properties like City Hunter, Fist of the North Star, Hunter x Hunter, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and much more are represented in this battle for supremacy. Players can also create their own custom fighter and earn different outfits and accessories as unlocks.

Jump Force will be releasing on February 15th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC in North America. Stay tuned for more information on the rescheduled beta sessions in the coming weeks.
