Frontier Developments has offered a release date for Jurassic World Evolution, its dinosaur park management title that will be coming to Xbox One, PC and PS4. It’s out on June 12th digitally for all platforms while physical copies arrive for consoles on July 3rd.
New gameplay footage has also been released showcasing exactly what happens when you try to manage a park teeming with dinosaurs (hint: It’s less carnage-filled than you’d think). Along with constructing cages and herding different species together, players will also have to deal with environmental issues like tornadoes.
When dinosaurs escape as a result, resources must be spent to collect them. Otherwise, you’re very much creating new breeds, investing in research and tackling different challenges that can pop up as the result of decisions. The game is currently available for pre-orders with consumers receiving special benefits like a unique helicopter skin and off-road vehicle skin.
